After yo-yoing for years, Evans tells Us how she shed six sizes.

In 2012, Faith Evans released a Grammy-nominated album.  She also reached her heaviest weight: 205 pounds.  “It was difficult keeping up with my career, kids and exercise,” the single mom of four (ages 7 to 21) admits to Us.  “Working out fell off.”  Until, she says, she got fed up with giving away her “fly” clothes.

Making moves.

To keep her threads, the 5-foot-7 singer, 41, began swimming laps in her pool a few times a week.  Once she had enough stamina, she started a 90-minute routine: running up the 170-step Santa Monica Stairs near her house 10 times, jogging home, then knocking out 50 pushups, 350 crunches and 600 reps on her ThighMaster.  The weight melted off when she made it a pre-dawn ritual.  “I do it before my kids wake up, five days a week,” she says.  To fuel her workouts, she traded takeout for a protein-heavy diet.  The efforts paid off.  “My legs are toned and stomach looks damn good,” says the size-6 star.  “I feel great!”
